Our new season begins on September 1, 2011. All club members need to renew their memberships before they can continue to play past this date. This year we are using online registration to enroll. Go to http://www.glrrc.com and click on badminton to enroll. Adults, please make a profile for yourself first and then add your children to register them. You can use Paypal or a credit card to register online. If, for any reason, you are unable to complete online registration talk to Alec, our treasurer. After you have completed payment please print out a copy of the confirmation email that you receive. Bring this printout to the club to receive your tag for the coming year.
COURT SET UP and ROLL UP With 8 courts it is important that everyone help with court set up and roll up. Before leaving at the end of the night please roll up any courts that are no longer in use. If you are the last group on the court when play ends please roll up that court. Your assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated by all. Please see the Order of Play posted at the club and under INFORMATION to determine when to start and end court set up and roll up respectively. Directions for where the court mats are moved to are posted on the bulletin board at the club.
COACHES WANTED
Bryn Mawr School is looking for a Head Coach and an Assistant Coach for their Varsity and Junior Varsity Badminton teams. Coaches would start the second week of February and the season lasts until the tournament which is held the 1st week of May. Time would be 3:30 - 5:30 PM each weekday. These are paid positions.
